I see all the logic in the financial argument presented here. I do take exception to the categorization of the Harley-Davidson buyer though. You might want to do some market research on Harley-Davidson successes in growth in young adult, urban and Hispanic buyers. The interest and passion of motorcyclists and Harley owners and in-tenders is particularly strong even in this down economy. As a share holder, owner, and business interested party (work at a Harley-Davidson dealership) I want both Harley-Davidson and their financial services wing to improve.
